Visitors Should Be Aware of New Speedbumps Installed on Kaya Korona
On Monday, April 16, 2007, the Department of Public Works began installing new speedbumps on Kaya Korona. Therefore, both visitors and residents alike should be forewarned to take care on this main thoroughfare, as drivers will now have to substantially slow when passing over the “drempels.”

Placed in front of Fundashon Cas Boneriano and the SGB School, the new speedbumps should slow traffic dramatically to allow students from the school to walk the area safely. However, motorists should be aware that there may be more congestion in this area, due to the slowing of traffic. (Source: Island Government)
Please note revision 4:00 PM April 17, 2007: Due to the traffic snarls which the speedbumps caused, it has been decided to remove them until further notice.
