Taste of Bonaire Fundraiser To Be Held Friday June 24, 2011
The Bonaire Red Cross and a number of other businesses and non-profits are teaming up to sponsor a Taste of Bonaire and Dia di San Juan fundraiser to be held this Friday. Proceeds from the bar and donations from food vendors will be contributed to construct a new building to house Bonaire’s two new ambulances.
Taste of Bonaire is a wonderful way for visitors and locals alike to sample the foods of local restaurants and chefs, while enjoying the ambiance and culture of Bonaire. Those attending will have to opportunity to choose from local food, Surinamese, Indonesian, Chinese and continental. Taste of Bonaire is always well attended, so be sure to arrive early to try some different foods and mingle and meet with friends. The event will be held in Wilhelmina Park from 7:00 PM until late.
