Special Rincon Marshe Begins Bonaire Day Celebrations

The Rincon Marshe Commission invites all to visit the Marshe di Rincon this Saturday, September 2, 2006 beginning the Bonaire Day celebrations with a program filled with educational and cultural activities in the form of a festival.

The marshe (street fair) will begin at 8:00 AM and will last until 4:00 PM.  Throughout the day there will be various cultural and local musical presentations by such groups as Nos Kosecha and Tuti Fruti.  Stands will be open selling locally made souvenirs as well as food and beverages.  The special dish of this week will be made by Mrs. Breinburg with her Surinamese cooking.  For more information on the Rincon Marshes, click here.  (Source:  Extra)
