So, You Think You Know Bonaire Challenge #1 by InfoBonaire.com

In December, it was announced that InfoBonaire.com, the Bonaire Information Site, would commence with thought-provoking “Challenges” throughout 2013 that will highlight little-known areas, history, culture, flora, or fauna of Bonaire, so we’re excited to let readers know the first challenge is live and can be viewed by clicking here.  Each Challenge is sponsored in part by a local tourism company on Bonaire, and offers a prize for use on your next Bonaire vacation.

Anyone over the age of 18 and not living on Bonaire may enter the challenge.  All Challenge answers must be complete and accurate to be entered to win, and the first eligible entry wins the prize, so don’t delay!  Challenges are open for 21 days, after which the next challenge will be posted.

There are Official Rules and Regulations which govern each Challenge throughout the year, so be sure you review those to insure eligibility.  Winner’s first names and general geographic area will be posted with the correct answer to the puzzle!

Here’s the first Challenge:

Challenge #1: Where is this sign located (state the location of the building), and how, in historical terms, is the building relevant?  Hint: The sign, translated from Papiamentu, says “Customs House.”
