Roomer Hotel Restaurant Opens for Business on Bonaire
Bonaire has a new property which has recently opened it doors. Formerly The Great Escape, this property has been purchased by new management and has undergone a transformation and been renamed as Roomer Hotel Restaurant.

The owners, Martin and Nicole Roomer, have spent the past two months renovating the property. All ten rooms have new bathrooms, curtains, tables, chairs, linens, and even new, semi-orthopedic mattresses for a good night’s sleep. Two “relaxing rooms” are available for their guests--one downstairs and one upstairs, which has a wonderful view of the stars at night and receives Bonaire’s famous breezes. Additional improvements are planned.
The on-site restaurant is open from 7:30 to 10:00 AM for breakfast, which is $12.50 per person, including taxes. Enjoy your breakfast al fresco while listening to soft, classical music. Cocktails or dinner are available from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM, with dinners ranging from $10.00 to $14.00 per person, including taxes. The dinner menu changes constantly, but local stobas (stews) are often served, with fish or pasta dishes also available. Caribbean music adds to the ambiance as you dine under the stars in the open-air restaurant.
A web site is currently under construction, but in the meantime, any inquiries can be sent to info@roomerbonaire.com. (Source: Roomer Hotel Restaurant)
