Mangasina, The Storehouse Opens October 19, 2009 on Bonaire

Bonaire has another “first!” Mangasina, The Storehouse is Bonaire’s first personal self-storage facility, located in Hato, and it is opening its doors to the public on October 19, 2009.

The facility is offering five different sizes of units from 5 x 5 feet to 10 x 20 feet, from closet size to garage size. There is a size to accommodate everyone’s needs, be it returning tourists who want to store diving, kiting, or windsurfing gear, off-island homeowners storing personal items and vehicles while renting out their homes, businesses needing inventory and file storage, those needing storage space while their homes are being built, or for people who just have too much stuff.

Mangasina: The Storehouse is unique on Bonaire as a personal self storage facility as no commercial activity is permitted in the units. The facility has monitored access through controlled entrance and exit gates for privacy and authorized use; only occupants of the units are permitted on premises.

Only 57 units of varying sizes are available in the first building. Two more buildings are planned for February, 2010, and the completed project will ultimately consist of five buildings.  Units are available on a monthly, yearly, or long-term basis at affordable rates.  (Source:  Mangasina: The Storehouse)
