Live Vicariously, See Bonaire’s Grand Karnival Parade
Today everyone was in Kralendijk for the Grand Karnival Parade. Those battling cold and snow can live vicariously be viewing images of today’s parade on the Bonaire Insider Photo Gallery by clicking here.
The adults were just as energetic as the youth of Bonaire in last week’s parade, and today saw a variety of floats and dancers, including a very popular lionfish group, a group of “bakers,” and a wonderful show of horsemanship and dressage at the end. Costumes were brilliant and sparkled in Bonaire’s sun and blue skies. Smiles were everywhere, as those in the parade enjoyed themselves, and everyone watching did the same.

Tuesday evening will be the final time to catch the parade, if it was missed today, as the Karnival time will end with the traditional burning of King Momo at midnight on Tuesday. See you there! (Source: Bonaire Insider Reporter)
