Kaminda di Arte (Bonaire Art Tour) To Begin Soon
November 21, 2010 will mark the beginning of the Kaminda de Arte. Artists participating in the tour have committed to open their studios, galleries or homes to the public every third Sunday of the month from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
An opening ceremony to announce the tour will be held Sunday November 14, 2010 with Lieutenant Governor Glenn Thode. Each of the participating artists will display a small exhibit of their work and music, snacks and drinks will be provided. The ceremony will be held at Mangazina di Rei in Rincon from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
Nineteen artists from Bonaire will be participating in the tour, which will be held on November 21 and December 19 in 2010, and January 16, February 20, March 20, April 17, May 15 and June 19 in 2011. A map featuring the location of each artist is currently being produced and will be available by clicking here.
