Go Green’s Next Farmer’s Market Will Take Place This Saturday, February 26, 2011
In December, 2010, the Go Green Natural and Organic Shop began organizing monthly Farmers’ Markets, bringing together at one location all vendors who sell home-grown or home-made products from Bonaire. This month’s Farmers’ Market will take place on Saturday, February 26, 2011.
The market will be held just behind the Go Green shop, and in front of the Catholic church in Kralendijk. It will open at 8:00 AM and run through 2:00 PM, but it’s recommended to get there early for the best selection. The market in January was much larger than than the initial market in December, and this market is promising to be just as fun.
Those visiting will find locally grown produce and food items, as well as plants and herbs and spices. It’s a great way to rub elbows with the locals and spend an hour browsing the stalls. (Source: Go Green Natural & Organic Shop)
