Sunset Bar and Grill To Open August 1, 2008
As we said in earlier posts, this summer is bringing lots of culinary news from the island of Bonaire, and the opening of Kirk Gosden’s second restaurant is much anticipated.
Opening August 1, 2008 in the location of the prior Reef Restaurant at Den Laman Condominiums, The Sunset Bar & Grill promises a new hot spot with fabulous food, drinks, and hospitality. Kirk, a well known Bonaire chef and restaurateur, is best known for his restaurant, The Lions Den, where, for several years now, he’s been fusing unusual flavors and textures into creative entrees and specials. With his expansion to the Sunset Bar & Grill, those who enjoy his dishes will now have two locations from which to choose.
The menu highlights include seafood, steaks and chops, appetizers, desserts, a vegetarian menu, a children’s menu, and daily specials. The Sunset Bar & Grill will be open Tuesday through Sunday for dinner. Those who wish to enjoy dinner on their opening night should make reservations quickly, as Kirk has informed the Insider that he is already more than half full. (Source: Sunset Bar & Grill)
