Buddy Dive Resort Hosts Their Annual Planet Ocean Fest Underwater Photography Seminar

Buddy Dive Resort will once again host their Planet Ocean Fest this November/December, when noted photographers share their tips and knowledge with those wishing to improve upon their photographic skills.

This year, from November 28th until December 18th, John Wall, Manager of Buddy Dive Resort’s digital photo shop, will host the annual photo underwater photography seminar. The weekly program includes three (digital) photo classes and photo safaris (underwater). Golden Reef Inn Launches Innovative Vacation Program, “Name Your Price”

Golden Reef Inn has just launched a new, innovative vacation program entitled, “Name Your Price.” This program is valid for new reservations from August 1, 2009 through April 14, 2010.

How does one name their own price for accommodations for an upcoming vacation to Bonaire?  Interested parties need only to go Golden Reef Inn’s web site, by clicking here, and at the bottom of the page, click on “Have a Question?”

This will return an interactive form where one may fill out contact information along with intended dates of travel.  In the “Question or Inquiry” section, one can enter the price (per night) that is preferred, and then hit submit.

Within 24 hours, Golden Reef Inn will reply by email stating if your price was accepted. At that time, those wishing to finalize the transaction will be required to complete the on-line booking form within 24 hours to secure the rate.  “Name Your Price” rates should be for accommodation only, based upon the per night per room rate desired, and should not include room taxes or energy surcharges.

Captain Don’s Habitat Announces New, Expanded Dive Center

Captain Don’s Habitat has just launched their newly built, state-of-the-art dive operation, rental, and retail center. The new, larger facility also boasts a more spacious and modern conference area and classrooms, furnished with upgraded audio and visual equipment and wireless Internet service. 

Conveniently located next to the restaurant and bar, it is just a few steps from the dock and shore diving areas. The dive operation is a SDI/TDI Professional Development Center and a PADI, NAUI and SSI training facility.

Dive Friends Bonaire Announces First Anniversary Shore Diving Sale at Dive Friends at Dive Inn

It was just one short year ago that Dive Friends Bonaire opened their fourth dive facility on Bonaire at Dive Inn, and, to celebrate their first year at this location, Dive Friends Bonaire is offering a First Anniversary Shore Diving Sale.

Valid for check-ins from May 1st through June 30th, 2009, any Bonaire visitor may register for shore diving at Dive Friends@Dive Inn, and receive the special rate for six (consecutive) days of shore diving of $114.00 per person (5% sales tax is additional).  This represents an 18% savings from the regular rate of $139.00 per person.

Even though check-in and the orientation will be held on Dive Friends @ Dive Inn, registered customers may use the convenience of the company’s other three locations to pick up tanks or utilize other services.  These locations include Dive Friends @ Yellow Submarine, Dive Friends @ Port Bonaire, and Dive Friends @ Hamlet.
