NetTech Launches Internet-Based Bonaire Tourism News Service
NetTech, N.V. today announced a new independent news service called Bonaire Insider. Located on the Internet at www.BonaireInsider.com, it will focus on providing timely and current tourism information for the island of Bonaire.
Created in the form of a “Blog” (a contraction of the words “Web” and “Log"), Bonaire Insider offers news clippings from a variety of local and international sources and will be a significant resource for tourists and locals alike to stay abreast of current events happening on Bonaire. As is the norm with blogs, viewers can also post their personal moderated comments about the news items.
Viewers may also elect to receive personal e-mail alerts when new items are posted; e-mails are normally received within two to three hours of posting. People interested in these free e-mail alerts can visit www.bonaireinsider.com/subscribe.html. Signup for e-mail alerts can be also accomplished from any page of the main site.
www.BonaireInsider.com will also be providing live news feeds to the popular www.InfoBonaire.com web site, Bonaire’s largest and most complete and up-to-date tourism web site used by many for planning trips to Bonaire. The live news feed can be seen on the InfoBonaire home page in the “What’s New” column.
Navigating the new Bonaire Insider site is simple; the home page lists all news items in reverse-chronological order - newest posts first. Viewers may also elect to view posts by month or by a single category of interest, or even peruse all categories, in which case category headlines are listed in alphabetical order. A FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page answers any questions a viewer may have.
NetTech invites all Bonaire-tourism-related entities to send in their news for possible inclusion on the blog - no news is too small to be considered. Such news items can be emailed to . (Source: NetTech N.V. Press Release)
