Animal Shelter Book and Flea Market Scheduled for July 2, 2011

The Animal Shelter’s book and flea market is always a popular event and a great place to pick up some books to read on the beach or browse through a variety of items, while contributing to a good cause.

This month’s market will be held on Saturday July 2, 2011 from 11 AM until 5:00 PM. Attendees will be able to purchase secondhand books for only $1.25 and also household goods, clothes, and other items at excellent prices. Drinks and snacks are available, so it’s always a great chance to browse through the books and items for sale, visit the animals and socialize.

All proceeds from the market are used to help keep the shelter open for homeless and unwanted dogs and cats. (Source: Bonaire Animal Shelter)
