The Aquaspace Returns to Bonaire for Sailing Excursions
The Aquaspace has recently returned to Bonaire from Curacao, where it underwent a major renovation over the past several months.

The Aquaspace is a special sailing vessel, equipped with a below-deck observation platform, offering dry and comfortable vistas of Bonaire’s undersea life, and it offers a variety of different sailing excursions each week. It was designed in 1978 and built in 1982 by Jacques Rougerie, a colleague of Jacques Cousteau. After having served as a Center of Marine Biology Studies, it now offers sailing charters on Bonaire.
The below-deck viewing platform is fully air-conditioned, and 90% of the area offers a glassed-in panorama of Bonaire’s reefs. There’s also a sun-deck and shaded areas on the main deck. It’s trimaran construction offers stable and comfortable sailing in almost any Bonaire weather. (Source: Aquaspace)

Missing E-Mail Notifications of Bonaire News
The e-mail notification provider that Bonaire Insider uses went off-line about 12 days ago, without any notice. This resulted in a decided lack of e-mail notifications going out to subscribers of the Bonaire Insider e-mail notification service. For those not family with this service, the Bonaire Insider e-mail notification service sends out short e-mails to notify people that a news item has been posted here on the Bonaire Insider web site to save folks the effort of having to check back regularly. As a result, six our of news items posted on the Bonaire Insider web site did not get e-mailed out. Users of RSS reader software were unaffected, incidentally.
In any case, we are very pleased to report that after extensive research and effort, we have both located a new (and hopefully more stable) service provider for the auto-notification function, and have also successfully rewritten the program for our mailing list system to resuming redistribution of notifications to our subscribers for new news items posted here on the Bonaire Insider web site.
In order to not overwhelm our subscriber’s mail boxes with notifications about the handful of news items which did not get distributed (resulting in many thousands of e-mails being sent out), we are providing direct links to those news items below:
