Lo tin diferente aktividat den e programa ku lo tuma lugar riba e paseo entre Karel’s Beach Bar y City Café ku tambe ta koperando ku e evento e aña aki brindando varios aktividat manera entre otro Chispa Band i kompetensha di pulso. Don’s Habitat ta patrosina.

Bonaire Bikers MC - Riding Rules

1. Check all your documents if they are in order since the traffic police will be doing controls.
2. Make sure you have a full tank of gas before leaving on each ride.
3. Check the Tires, Oil, and brakes every time you ride.
4. The Road Captain and officials will be in charge of guiding the rides with the cooperation of the Police Authorities when necessary. They will be identified in Official T-shirts, wearing armbands and may be displaying orange BBMC OFFICIAL flags on their motorcycles.
5. Bonaire Bikers MC Members will ride in front followed by guests with motorcycles. Scooters will follow behind the motorcycles and are not allowed to ride with the bigger motorcycles for safety reasons. All other vehicles will ride in the back.
6. Choose a side of the lane to ride and stay on it during the whole time.
7. Do not pass riders in front of you constantly since it is dangerous to other riders and yourself. Zigzagging between motorcycles is prohibited and bikers who don’t comply will be taken out of the tour by the officials.
8. Always keep a 2 second distance from the biker in front of you to prevent accidents when sudden braking occurs.
9. Watch for potholes and donkeys and point with your finger or tip
of your foot for the ones riding behind you to notice.
10. Make sure you understand and follow the indications and hand
signals given by the officials.
11. Keep up with the tour to prevent gaps in the rows which may
cause infiltrations of cars in between which may make you miss
the route and worse, could cause an accident.
12. If you see a motorcycle or participant stop for engine problems,
Do not stop; the officials will handle the situation.
13. Please use common sense. This will prevent most accidents.

Always remember you are not riding alone!

8th Annual Bonaire Bikers MC Tour 2006 Program

OFFICIAL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Thursday August 31.

7.30 Warm up night. All visitors already on the Island are invited for a warm up event and BBQ at the BBMC headquarters. Participation fee: Fls. 20.00 including drinks.

Friday September 1

7.00- 9.30 pm: Registration at Biker’s Saloon and official opening reception with free drinks to participants of the 8th Bonaire Bikers MC Tour. Register fee is Nafls. 35.00 which includes 1 T-shirt, One event pin, 3 free drinks at opening night, One dinner and one Lunch on Saturday and Sunday respectively. After the register there will be a big party at City Café featuring CHISPA.

Saturday September 2nd

12 Noon: Start at Habitat hotel parking lot for a ride to Rincon where there will be the famous marshe di Rincon with several activities and food stands with local dishes.

5.30pm: Gather at City Café for the Sunset ride ending at Plasa Wilhelmina for dinner and bike games, music concert ending with a big fireworks show sponsored by Captain Don’s Habitat Resort.
NOTE: Make sure you are wearing the wristband for free drinks.

Sunday September 3rd

9.30 am: Breakfast on the Parking lot at Rentofun.
11.00 am: Official start of the 8th Bonaire Bikers MC Tour 2006 with krioyo lunch stop at the Rose Inn in Rincon ending at 5pm by the promenade Kanti ‘awa.

NOTE:

BBMC hereby wants to request all riding visitors and local residents to ride without excessive revving and roaring of engines and refrain from doing wheelies and burnouts which is illegal, especially when riding at night and in residential areas when our local families are resting.

Let’s all do this as a courtesy to the residents so we can continue to celebrate this event every year with the support and cooperation of everyone.

Helmet wearing is not mandatory and should be at the discretion of each rider.

There will be control by the authorities in regards to Driver’s Licenses and documents, so please keep them always on hand.
